My Current Favourite Natural Pampering Products

I don’t know about you but this time of year, I indulge a little more in my pamper time. Our skin, hair and nails are a little more prone to dryness, the days are shorter allowing for more evening downtime and also as the year draws to a close, we simply deserve to end it feeling wonderful. Here, I share my current favourite pampering products all natural, luxurious, effective and worth it!

Women’s Balance Bath Salts by Neal’s Yard Remedies

There’s nothing I like better than a soak, a late afternoon one is my favourite time to unwind from the day. I’ve been using the Neal’s Yard Remedies Women’s Balance Bath Salts for a while now and they just feel like such a soothing treat. A balancing blend of relaxing patchouli, uplifting geranium, nurturing rose and rejuvenating frankincense.

Candle by Homework in scent Bai San

The scent of this candle is to me…perfection. It’s just so up my street especially for this time of year, woody and smokey with sandalwood and Chinese cedar. London made and hand poured too, I love supporting a small local brand. They use natural essential oils and phthalate, paraben and toxin-free fragrance oils so you can burn to your heart’s desire.

Flower Cuticle Oil by Licia Florio

My nails are prone to brittleness and dryness all year round, I think it’s genetic and I do tend to opt for shellac or gel to keep them strong and neat however recently I’ve decided to give them a little break and TLC. I use a strengthener and then every evening apply this stunningly pretty flower cuticle oil. It really does make a huge difference and again just feels like such a treat to look after ones self in this way.

LIHA Idan Oil for All Over

I was introduced to this natural, cold-pressed coconut oil with a tbuberose flower by my lovely friends at MIMMO Studios. The scent blew me away and I just knew I needed it in my life. It’s a complete multi-purpose product which is my kind of thing, you can use it all over the body, on your face and as a leave-in hair conditioner. It will be in solid form during the colder months so I bring it into a hot bath with me and then slaver it on afterwards.

Body Brush Soft by Dr Barbara Sturm

If you haven’t heard of body brushing then it’s something you should get to know about. The benefits claim to include improving circulation and reduction of bloating however I simply find my skin feels gorgeous after this exfoliation and my creams and oils work even better for me. Start with a soft brush rather than a hard one as your skin might be sensitive and redden a little. I work in upwards strokes towards my heart all over my body.

Rose Bath & Shower Oil by Aromatherapy Associates

I’ve always loved the scent rose, it reminds me of my nanny who would used rose bars of soap. This luxurious rose bath and shower oil will fill your bathroom and maybe even your house with the most beautiful scent of rose. Free from parabens, artificial fragrance and colour. It’s always on my birthday and Christmas lists.

Pukka Teas

Pre pregnancy, I loved a glass of wine in the bath with me but during my pregnancy I’ve been really enjoying exploring the range of teas one of my favourite brands Pukka has to offer. They have two new ones I love, Winter Warmer with orange peel and festive spices and Breathe In Tea with Eucalyptus which is refreshing and wonderful to help with winter colds as it always contains ginger and honey.

Gua Sha

My bestie and LMP teacher, Emily Spriggs, got both me and my husband into gua sha. The ritual of using a jade or rose tool to massage the facial muscles. It can help ease tight muscles and I especially love using it around my jaw and eyebrows to ease headaches and a jaw tightness.
